Lockwood family sermons, 1739-1793.

Handwritten sermons by three ministers, members of the Lockwood family of Connecticut. James Lockwood was minister of the First Church of Christ in Wethersfield; his sermons date from 1739-1772. His brother, Samuel Lockwood, served as minister in Andover, Connecticut, and his sermons date from 1750-1891. James' son William Lockwood, is represented by sermons dating from 1786-1791, presumably given in Glastonbury, Connecticut, where he was minister.
